The Ayyamut Ta’abbudaat activities in Bahrain have once again commenced with a Julus on 12 Rabiul Awal H1427 (10 April 2006) commemorating Eid-e-Milaadun-Nabi.

 

This year the Julus included Member of Parliament, Mr. Abdul Rahman Jamsher along with other leading members of the Bahraini community. For Zeenat, 2 horses and 2 camels were also included with mumineen riding on top of each. The blocks of the julus consisted of Farzando each holding the Bahrain Flag; the Scout Band that performed several formations along the way; Janab Aamil Saheb with local dignitaries; Mashaikh in Paaghri; Mumineen in Feta and Topi. All mumineen and farzando wore the Bahrain Flag badge. Banners displaying Hadith Mubarak of Rasulullah (SAW) relating to brotherhood and patriotism were on view within the julus. Shabubul Eid-iz-Zahabi who organized the entire activity served chocolates and sweets to the viewers.

 

The julus began with the playing of the national anthem of Bahrain, which was also played at the mid and end points of the julus. Recitation on mike of Qasidahs by Madresah children in Darajah 7th and above, and Naat by Zakereen took place all along the way.

 

Police provided escort from beginning to finish and also cleared the traffic all along the entire route of the Julus. Video coverage and photographs were taken both by the local TV station and leading newspapers. It ended at the Masjid Complex followed by khushi majlis, namaaz, matam majlis and niyaz jaman.

 

Member of Parliament, Mr. Abdul Rahman Jamsher remarked that he wished that all processions in Bahrain were of this nature (in brotherhood and patriotism).

 

Earlier, Lailatul-Eid-e-Milaadun-Nabi waaz took place at 8 pm on 11 Rabiul Awal H1427 (9 April 2006) including the audio clip of AqaMaulaTUS’s Bayan Mubaraka on Yowme Ashura H1427 related to Esteghfar. The waaz majlis was followed by Pur Josh Matam with Janab Aamil Saheb Miqdad Bhaisaheb Zainuddin in the middle with mumineen in concentric circles around him. Thereafter, Khatmul Quran was held in remembrance of Busaheba Amatullah Aisaheba (QR).
